What does the Resurrection prove?
It proves what the Bible says; God “has put eternity into man's heart”! We all have a deep awareness that we were made for more! We will spend forever in His presence, joy in heaven OR into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
It proves that “It is finished”, our sins are paid for, for those who trust in Jesus. It proves Jesus is who He said He is. He is God and conqueror of all our enemies: sin, Satan and death! It proves there’s hope in the darkest hour when you know and Love God! It means this world is temporary and Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us forevermore! We do not need to let our hearts be troubled! We hope against hope!
In fact, IF Jesus “Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain”. On the contrary, “thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
The Resurrection is the greatest comeback story in history! It can be yours too, If you surrender to Jesus as King of your life and trust His work of redemption for you! Confess you are a sinner unworthy of Heaven and ask Him to save you from being a sinner and He gives you His word He will!
