Jesus seized Satan’s intended weapon to defeat Him and made it the very instrument of our victory! What the enemy meant for evil, God Meant for our good!

The Bible says He did it that He “might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.”

Jesus had once told His disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me". Here, He leads the way, showing that the path to life paradoxically begins with a death to self.  

Mankind rebelled and died at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Jesus uses another tree to lift us up to heaven! The cross displays how God hates sin! Jesus bearing it proves How much more He loves us! Only our Savior on our cross can satisfy God's wrath! He paid it all, all to Him we owe!
