Why Do We Encourage Resurrection 'Son'day!??

This Sonday we will take a break from our 1st Timothy series to celebrate Jesus' Resurrection.

The last chapter of the last book of the Old Testament prophecies the coming Messiah! Malachi 4:2 'But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.'

To speak of the Resurrection is to be clear about our Hope in Jesus' rising from the dead! "Easter" isn’t clear, its overused and doesn’t make you think like when we say Happy Resurrection Day!

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 Tells us its of Prime Importance! If Jesus didn’t rise, we are hopeless, still in our sins and our faith is vain!

Sonday? Yes, HE is the Son of God and the Son of Man! And there will be no sun in eternity, But God will be our Light! Revelation 22:5

Jesus' victory over Sin, Satan and Sheol (the grave) is the major difference of our faith from ALL others and the Crescendo of our Victory song! 

When we say or write Resurrection Sonday it catches people off guard, compels reflection and often invites an opportunity for discussion, which we want!

This Sonday is your best opportunity to invite people to church, Please ask at least 5 people to come with you!

There is a chance we could have a full auditorium, IF so, would you be willing to make room for strangers to hear the message and sit downstairs and watch the service?
